At some point, the fire also spread to the carriage of the passenger train, but none of the passengers were hurt. According to the police, the fire may have been caused by thrown flares. Over 800 people were identified.

Later, the fire spread to the wagon of this train. Firefighters evacuated almost a thousand people. Nine units fought the fire. Nothing happened to anyone.

“While the train with Legia Warszawa fans going to the match in Poznań was stopping at the Górczyn station, a freight wagon caught fire. The passenger car caught fire. No one was injured. We estimate the losses. We will identify the fans. We are determining the causes and course of this event,” said the Greater Poland police. .
The spokesman for the Wielkopolska Police, Junior Inspector Andrzej Borowiak, announced on Sunday evening that in connection with this case, the officers had identified 834 people. – Surveillance recordings are secured. The fire probably broke out as a result of thrown flares, the policeman said.
