The Secretary of the US Treasury Scott Bessent announced on Monday that there would soon be a trade agreement with some countries. He added that China also expresses his desire to negotiate in the matter of customs duties, which is why he “does not worry about empty shelves” in the United States.
According to Scott Bessent, the first trade agreements can be signed this or next week. As the secretary told, one of them will be “Deal with India” and the president Donald Trump will be “deeply involved in every (from these agreements – ed.)”. In addition, “all levels of the government” in Washington are in contact with Beijing.
Bessent emphasized that many of the most important trading partners have submitted “very good” suggestions for contracts to avoid American duties. He added that USA They also conduct “very specific” commercial negotiations with Japan and other Asia countries.

He also suggested that the Boeing concern would sue the Chinese partner for suspending the import of ordered aircraft.
On Thursday, contrary to Trump's declarations, the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs denied that any talks with the USA in commercial matters were taking place and signaled that to start them, the abolition of “unilateral” duties imposed by Washington.
