Dominik Tarczyński supported Donald Trump at Saturday's pre-election rally. The PiS MEP announced his visit to Virginia via social media. It was also captured by cameras, so you can easily see the emotions of the politician who stood right behind Trump's back.
A series of behaviors of the MEP caught the expert's attention. This time, rocking and scratching his head and face were not a sign of stress or strong emotions – but of tiredness. “It's emotions, temperature, crowds, so sweating, body heating and, as a result, scratching the head and scratching the face are not signals of stress, but technical behavior. In this way, the MEP had to eliminate the itching. He did it both on the head (on the temple) and on the face with the tip of your finger. Very gently so as not to destroy the planned image. Then Seweryn said that the PiS politician knew perfectly well that Attention will also focus on him.
He knew he would be seen. He was happy about it. Many times during the rally, and even more so during Trump's speech. He revealed this, among others: facial expressions, reactions in the form of positive, supportive gestures and residual behavior in the form of frequent and rapid floating on the toes (it looks like very gentle jumping on the toes).
The expert's tactical movements also included hands in a “conflict” gesture (fists facing each other, placed above the navel) and chest demonstrations, which, according to the expert, were supposed to symbolize power and self-confidence. “Knowing that his stay at the rally in this prestigious place would be noticed both in Poland, in the USA and in the European Parliament, he adopted the position of a strong demonstration of strength, power and self-confidence. The basis was a demonstrative gesture. Typical of the British and also strongly rooted in the system business – American.
In Poland, from a distance it looked like hands arranged in a 'conflict' gesture. This gesture involves demonstrating a wide folded chest by grasping the lapels of the jacket high. The gesture was completed by a raised head and hips pushed forward. The latter behavior is typical only of males. However, the real excitement at Trump's close presence was revealed by frequent rubbing of the lapel (a rudimentary version of the commonly known self-consoling gesture). The proximity to power, great power, can even embarrass an MEP.

However, the culmination of Tarczyński's emotions came when he received the attention he seemed to be seeking the most. At one point, Trump's eyes turned towards the MEP. “At one point, Donald Trump looked at the audience behind him and froze for a second or two. Or more precisely, he stopped looking at MP Tarczyński,” said the expert, and then explained the circumstances of the surprising event.
It turned out to be an image trick. “MP Tarczyński was dressed identically to Donald Trump. The suit, its cut, the color of the shirt and the shoes were predictable. It was a bit more difficult to addition down suit – with a tie,” added Seweryn. How did the MP react to the unusual moment? The expert drew attention to a small detail. “As a result of Trump noticing the Pole, he slightly pulled up his tie right after the fact. He was satisfied,” the expert concluded.
