The aim of the American administration is to bring to a situation in which the production of goods will take place in the USA.

– It's like a patient who was very sick. We have carried out surgery, and now it's time for the patient to recover. And we do it exactly – said the American vice president. He expressed the opinion that the price for “one bad day on the stock exchange” is “the blooming stock market for a long time, because we are investing in the United States of America again.”

– People from Wall Street were doing well; We want them to succeed. But the most care about American employees and American small companies. And they, in fact, will benefit from it, ”said Vance.

He also said that Trump's team was making election promises, and the introduction of duties could not be a surprise for anyone. – you had an economic policy that rewarded sending our jobs to China Instead of investing in American employees. (…) President Trump started (in elections – ed.) To change it. He promised that he would change it, and now he did it – said Vance.

Doubts on the duties

The American vice president also referred to doubts raised by his home party. Under the draft amendment to the Act on duties, according to which the Parliament would decide on the application of tariffs, because he signed, among others Senator of the Republican Party Chuck Grassley.

Vance assured that he shares the fears of a party colleague, but – as he emphasized – they would be dispelled.

“I understand that Chuck Grassley is worried about farmers.” Do our farmers benefit when foreign competitors send many of their agricultural products to the US, but refuse our farmers to send beef and other products to these countries? This is the whole problem we are trying to solve – argued Vance.

– Justice is the name of this game – emphasized the American vice president. Vance added that Trump's administration considered the introduction of higher duties, but – as he noted – in a gesture of good will she did not do it.
