Police officers from Trzebnica (Lower Silesia) detained four Georgian citizens suspected of robbery of a 75-year-old resident of the district. A senior citizen was attacked in front of his home after he returned from the bank with withdrawn money.
On Thursday, October 31, at approx. 15 there was a robbery in Oborniki Śląskie. There, a 75-year-old man was attacked before entering his property. As determined by the police, a citizen Georgia took his laptop, phone and money.
According to the officers, before the robbery, the senior was in a bank in Trzebnica, where he withdrew money in the amount of PLN 60,000. zloty. There was also a man of another nationality at the facility who was not served because he did not have a PESEL number. After collecting the money, the senior went home in his car. After a while, the man drove up to his property, parked his car opposite the gate, and then took the bag with money, a laptop and a mobile phone. When he wanted to open the garage, he was attacked by a Georgian citizen who jumped on him, knocked him down and took his bag with money.
Four Georgian citizens were detained
Two days after the incident, officers managed to detain four men suspected of robbery in the Świdnica district. “They are all citizens of Georgia. During the operations, the police recovered nearly PLN 53,000 in stolen cash,” says Junior Asp.. Lidia Łynko from the police in Trzebnica.

The men were temporarily arrested for three months. They now face up to 12 years in prison.
