Trzekina. The first clues on a woman murdered 16 years ago. Dozens of applications went to the police

Policemen have already received several dozen applications in the case of a woman whose fragmented body 16 years was found in the pond. A week ago they showed her likely image.

According to the Provincial Police Headquarters in Gdańsk, the publication of the image created by the American company Parabon Nanolabs using advanced genetic research, based on the biological material secured by police officers at the scene, illustrates the expected appearance of the victim.

From the moment when the image of a woman was published, several dozen applications have already been received to policemen by e -mail and telephone.

Each of them is now verified. They suggest, among others, that a woman could have been a victim of a gang of basements.

– Policemen received dozens of applications. They concerned both who the victim was and also indications regarding the possible perpetrator of this murder. There is also a phone number indicated there. Criminal departments who will analyze and verify all this information on duty are constantly on duty – says the horseshoes. The investigation was discontinued in 2009

In 2009, a dismembered body of a woman without hands, legs and head was found in one town in Pomerania.

– Due to the exhaustion of the evidence initiative at that time and due to the failure of the perpetrators of the crime, by decision of 31 December 2009 the investigation was discontinued due to the failure to detect the perpetrators. Despite the redemption of the investigation, the case was in constant interest of the prosecutor and specialists from the Gdańsk police archive X – explained prosecutor Mariusz Marciniak a week ago.
