The partners expect that their cooperation will result in strengthening relationships with suppliers – by broadening their business prospects, as well as increasing the attractiveness of the prices of the offered products as a result of combining the purchasing power of both brands.
It was stated that the scope of cooperation assumes conducting joint negotiations on the terms of purchase of food and non-food products of own, national and international brands with selected suppliers delivering these items directly to each of the chains.
Auchan and Intermarché will also jointly purchase goods and services for the purposes of running their own businesses.
