The Continental Cup is a second-class ski jumping competition. There are plenty of famous ones in them playerswho are looking for form or simply do not qualify to represent their countries in the World Cup. One of such players is Maciej Kot, who narrowly missed the podium in Bischofshofen.

Currently, the eyes of the fans jumpski teams are focused on Zakopane, where on Saturday the Poles took fifth place in the team competition, and on Sunday the individual competition will take place. In the morning, however, the Continental Cup competition took place in Bischofshofen, where the fans have reasons to be happy with Maciej Kot.
33-year-old in the first series he achieved 132.5 meters, thanks to which he took eighth place. However, he improved in the second series, in which he landed 1.5 meters further. This result allowed him to take fourth place with 253 points. However, the famous jumper may be very unlucky, because the third place, Markus Mueller, landed on 128 meters and obtained a score of 253.1. So he overtook Kot and only one tenth, and the podium allowed him to maintain his 137-meter jump from the first series.
There were two more Poles in the top 30 – Klemens Joniak took 21st place and Andrzej Stękała was 28th. Tymoteusz Amilkiewicz and Kacper Juroszek did not enter the second series, they took 41st and 42nd place respectively, and disqualified became Jarosław Krzak.
The competition was won by Norwegian Robin Pedersen, followed by Austrians Jonas Schuster and the previously mentioned Markus Mueller. Behind the podium was Maciej Kot, and the top five was completed by the famous German ski jumper Stephan Leyhe.
