Unidentified object flew into Polish territory, search continues. NATO calls it “irresponsible and potentially dangerous” actions

NATO on Monday condemned Russia's “irresponsible and potentially dangerous” actions through its spokeswoman. Farah Dakhlallah also recalled that since the attack on Ukraine, “fragments of Russian drones and missiles” have been found on allied territory several times. A dozen or so hours later, the Polish military reported that an unidentified air object had flown into the country.

On Monday morning, near the Ukrainian city of Chervonohrad an air object flew into Polish territory – informed the Operational Commander of the Armed Forces, General Maciej Klisz. He added that the search for it was ongoing. As he said, it was probably an unmanned aerial vehicle. The appearance of this object coincided with with the shelling of Ukrainian territory by Russia.

On the evening of the same day, NATO spokeswoman Farah Dakhlallah stated that “since (the outbreak – editor's note) of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022, fragments of Russian drones and missiles have been found on allied territory on several occasions.”
