USA. US Secretary of State Marco Rubio: We analyze Russian truce demands

The Secretary of State of the USA referred to the Tuesday message of the Kremlin in this way, in which a number of realization conditions were mentioned, including the abolition of sanctions for the Russian State Bank Rossiełchozbank and other restrictions on food and fertilizer exports.

Rubio announced that the US would analyze the erected by Russia Conditions, but noticed that some of them concern the abolition of EU sanctions. Among other things, it is about re -connecting Rossiełchozbank to the international Swift system, based in Belgium. On Wednesday, a spokeswoman for the European Commission Anitta Hipper announced that the condition for lifting the sanctions is the withdrawal of Russian troops with Ukraine.

– We will sit down, look at the suggestions, learn the impressions of our people from conversations so that we can fully understand what the position of Russia is or what they demand in return. Then we will present it to the president and eventually decide what the next step will be – said Rubio.

– I think it's good that both Ukrainians and Russians talk about the suspension of weapons, be it in the energy sector or potentially in the Black Sector – he added.
