Together we are much stronger, we have prosperous countries. This may be the strongest alliance, an alliance in technologies, for example in drones, but also in the field of food safety, said the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky in a conversation with four Polish editorial offices.
President Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky gave an interview to four Polish editorial offices: TVN24, Onet, “Rzeczpospolita” and “Krytyka Polityczna”. He was asked how he imagined relations with Poland after the victory and whether they would be of a “special” nature.
“This could be the strongest alliance”
– Together we are much stronger, we have prosperous countries. This may be the strongest alliance, an alliance in technologies, for example in drones, said the president of Ukraine.
– This is not only about the army, but also about food safety, for example. We can cope with many challenges. You know that Russia it can act not only with weapons, but it can, for example, block a grain corridor, and then we have the sea. That is why we need to think about security and the alliance, explained Volodymyr Zelensky.
– I'm not talking about us being like Russia and Belarus. No, God forbid, but we should be more than just neighbors when it comes to challenges, for example in agriculture, he added.
“We should all be pragmatic”
The President of Ukraine said that “politicians can make their own policies, but people should look into it themselves and look at the numbers.”
– You have to be pragmatic. If Ukraine exports 80 percent of its agricultural production to other countries, not to Europe, then we should pay attention to it, he said.
– I'm not accusing anyone here. Everyone has their own interests, but we should all be pragmatic, said Volodymyr Zelensky.
