The Military Portal reported that, according to Russian military officials, the installation of concrete “dragon teeth” took place without permission and on a road used for the rotation and evacuation of soldiers and volunteers. Unofficial reports indicate that due to the blockades “about 40 Russian soldiers were killed and another 40 were injured.”

Russian commanders are trying to blame the Ukrainian side for the incidents and its secret services, and present the case as sabotage. However, the military portal emphasized that more than one unit of engineering equipment is needed to transport and install such concrete blocks. This, in turn, may mean that Ukraine would have problems with erecting such an obstacle.

Belsat, in turn, reports that the indicated section of the road is dangerous for Russians due to “the constant activity of Ukrainian kamikaze drones, which forces the army to move at a speed of about 150 km/h.”

According to the Militarnyj portal, the situation shows that The Russians have problems with exchanging information within their rankseven in a region within their national territory.

One of the Russian social media channels points out that there are more accidents per hour on the section where the “dragon teeth” were placed than there are drone attacks per week.

But “dragon teeth” are set not only by Russians or Ukrainians. Lithuanian Defense Minister Laurynas Kasčiūnas announced at the beginning of October that another bridge across the Neman to Kaliningrad had been fortified. He also assured that the structures will be installed on the roads leading to the Königsberg Oblast. “The dragon's teeth also complement the iron beams that will be inserted and secured. Lithuanian Army is now testing them and assessing how they will deter heavy equipment attackers“- he wrote online.
