The number of victims of the Russian rocket attack on Palm Sunday has increased to the Ukrainian city of the sum – the prosecutor's office of the Sumski District donated. Among the killed and wounded are children.

“As a result of a rocket attack on the city center of a sum (made) on April 13, 2025, 35 people were killed, including boys aged 11 and 17. 117 people were injured, including 15 children. We submit the most sincere condolences to the families and friends of the victims” – reads the prosecutor's office.

On Sunday, the Russian army attacked the SUM center – a city in the north -eastern part of Ukraine – with two ballistic missiles. The President of Ukraine Wołodymyr Zelanski commented that a blow to the city center on Palm Sunday could only be carried out by “absolutely mean plugawiec”.

The head of the state reminded that last Friday, April 11, a month passed since “Russia rejected the American proposal of a full and unconditional suspension of weapons” in the war against Ukraine. He estimated that the Russians were “not afraid, that's why they hit ballistries.”

US President Donald Trump said on Sunday that an attack on the sums He was terrible, but he stipulated that the information he obtained shows that the Russians made a mistake. He emphasized, however, that this is not his war, but the war of Joe Biden.
