The village of Krynky on the left bank of the Dnieper was occupied by the Russians on the first day of a full-scale invasion – February 24, 2022. In October 2023, Ukrainian troops gained a foothold in Krynky. Since then, the occupying forces almost every day they tried to drive Ukrainian forces out of there.
According to the expert, the situation on the Left Bank has changed after the withdrawal of Ukrainian troops from Krynki, but not enough for the Defense Forces Ukrainy lost fire control over the area. “This means that there is a possibility of shelling the Russians with artillery and shelling the occupation forces with long-range combat drones,” said Ukrainian military expert Ivan Kyrychevsky.

The spokesman for the Taurida military group, Dmytro Lykhovyi, said on Thursday that the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to carry out tasks on the left bank of the Dnieper, in particular near the village of Krynki in the Kherson region, but the village was completely destroyed by enemy fire.
