Three passenger cars collided in Rembertów in Warsaw. One of the drivers was stuck inside the damaged vehicle. With the help of firefighters, he was released and taken to hospital.
The accident occurred around 10 o'clock at Cyrulików Street in Rembertów. The capital's ambulance announced that three passenger cars collided at the height of the railway viaduct: two Toyota and Opel.
Three emergency medical teams, police and fire brigade worked on site. “Toyota driver has been stuck in the car” – reports the Provincial Ambulance Station “Meditrans” in Warsaw on Facebook. “Upon arrival at the scene of the incident, it was necessary to use a hydraulics by firefighters to get a wounded man out of Toyota,” he was noted.
“Numerous bruises”
The injured driver was taken to the hospital. “Medical rescue operations are carried out with 2 women. They have numerous bruises. However, they will probably remain at the scene of the incident and will not require further diagnostics and hospitalization,” the ambulance said in the entry.
As commissioner Rafał Rutkowski from the Warsaw Police Headquarters later confirmed, only one person was taken to the hospital. “All drivers were sober,” he noted.
During the services, the road at the accident site was blocked. “Traffic takes place only along the gravel road,” warned the rescuers.
