City guards intervened against a drunk bus passenger who was threatening the driver of the vehicle. The 41-year-old was taken to a sobering-up center.
On the second day of Christmas, a city guard patrol received a report about a passenger sleeping on a bus and not wanting to leave the vehicle.
He threatened the driver that he would catch her on the route
“The man managed to wake up enough that he was able to go home. When the officers were already reporting their return to work in the area, a nervous woman approached them. It turned out that she was the driver of another bus who could not recover. after an argument with an aggressive passenger,” reports the press release of the Warsaw City Guard.
The woman told the guards that the drunk man asked her not to stand on the loop so long because he was in a hurry. “When he heard that the driver of the city bus was subject to the timetable, he became furious and started threatening her. Since the driver remained adamant, an impatient passenger jumped out of the bus and announced that he would catch her on the route,” city guards say.

At one of the stops, the guards noticed a man who matched the description given by the bus driver.
“The intoxicated 41-year-old man admitted that he had threatened the woman. The police were called to the scene and ordered the man, who was still behaving dangerously, to be taken to the Capital Center for Intoxicated Persons. He will be interrogated after he sobers up and the police receive the complaint from the injured party,” the city guard concluded. .
