Firefighters extinguished a fire in an apartment in a tenement house at Słowackiego Street in Warsaw on Wednesday. One person was evacuated from the window.

They were confirmed to us by senior captain Wojciech Kapczyński from the Municipal Headquarters of the State Fire Service in Warsaw. It is a tenement house at 38 Słowackiego Street. According to the firefighter, five crews were dispatched there at first, but finally four remained on site. – The fire has been located. There was thick black smoke visible when we arrived. The fire broke out in an apartment on the second floor. There was one person in the window of the premises, who was evacuated and transferred to the care of the emergency service. She was conscious and in generally good condition, the firefighter noted.
He assured that the fire did not spread and the situation was under control.
