Policemen led three people out of the burning vacancy

At the weekend at night, the fire broke out in the attic of the vacancy in Targówek. Policemen, suspecting that there may be people inside, went inside. They were not wrong. They helped evacuate three people, one had problems with movement. Firefighters also operated on the spot.

A few minutes before 3 on Sunday, policemen from Targówek – senior post Mateusz Kaza and senior post Artur Wińcza – received a notification about a fire of a two -storey building at Łodygowa Street.

“When they arrived, it turned out that the fire had already taken half the roof,” she told the nadkom. Paulina Onyszko from the Warsaw VI Police District Headquarters.

Policemen suspected that in the building they could seek shelter people in the crisis of homelessness they knew it because they had already intervened at this address. They searched the rooms.

They helped leave the building to three people

Their assumptions have confirmed. – Two alerted men of men left the building themselves. He needed a third to help police. He was confused, he had problems with walking – explained onzyszko.

They told him that the building was burning and he must leave it quickly. One of the policemen found a stroller, thanks to which the man could move freely. Policemen helped him go outside safely and reach the emergency services that have already conducted their activities in this area.

Then the police checked all rooms and staircases in detail to make sure that there is no person in the building. Until the end of firefighters, officers secured the area of ​​activities against access to bystanders.

The causes of the fire are not yet known.
