The police detained a 21-year-old man who was marching on November 11 with the flag of a fascist organization. He also had stickers promoting totalitarian regimes in his backpack. He was sentenced summarily.
During the march on November 11, the police received information about a man who was supposed to be walking with the flag of an American fascist organization.
A flag, a hat and a backpack full of stickers
The police located the man and intervened. – It turned out that the 21-year-old was also wearing a cap with the symbol of the same organization and in his backpack were stickers presenting the Nazi, communist and fascist political systems. The flag, hat and stickers were secured and the man was detained. The case was handled by criminals and investigators from our command – explained Sub-Inspector Joanna WÄ™grzyniak from the Warsaw VII District Police Headquarters.
The man was charged with two charges: promoting fascist ideology and possessing stickers with similar content.
– The police brought the suspect to court under an accelerated procedure. There, the 21-year-old was found guilty of both offenses and was sentenced to a total prison sentence of five months, suspended for a probation period of three years, the policewoman concluded.
