The police detained a 54-year-old driver on Wiertnicza Street. The man was taking the children to school. It turned out that he was drunk.

Today around 8:30 a.m. on Wiertnicza Street, police officers from the Wilanów Police Station detained a 54-year-old man.

According to them, it was transporting a group of children aged 7 to 14. “The driver's sobriety test showed nearly two per mille of alcohol in the body. The children were going to school,” the Warsaw Police Headquarters reported on Platform X.

Activities are initially carried out in the direction of Art. 178a Penal Code.

Art. 178a. § 1. Whoever, while in a state of intoxication or under the influence of a narcotic drug, drives a motor vehicle in land, water or air traffic shall be subject to the penalty of imprisonment for up to 3 years.
