There was a heating failure in Ursynów. Due to damage to the mains, residents of 37 blocks of flats must take into account an interruption in heat supplies. Our reporter determined that removing the effects of the failure may last until Thursday morning.

“There was an interruption in heat supplies in the area of ​​Cynamonowa 43 Street,” Veolia announced in a statement. The disruptions concern 37 buildings at the following streets: Cynamonowa, Magellana, Polynesian, Strzelecki and Teliga. According to the information provided by the company, the supply interruption lasts from 11.20 p.m. on Tuesday and should end by 11.20 a.m. on Thursday, January 9.

– A main with a diameter of 70 centimeters burst. As I found out, the repair will last all day and probably also overnight. Preliminary estimates say that heat should return to buildings on Thursday morning – reports tvnwarszawa.pl reporter Artur Węgrzynowicz.

He adds that the work of heating plants causes difficulties for pedestrians. The failure occurred on the sidewalk on Cynamonowa Street. Part of it, as well as a fragment of the green belt, were fenced off with barriers.
