The sisters who run the window of life on Hoża in Warsaw notified the police and it turned out that the girl's father had been previously wanted. Windows of Life is actually a Polish institution. In such places, during the 18 years of windows of life operating throughout Poland, it has been possible to save up to 160 children. In this one alone, on Hoża, opened in 2008, 20 children were found. Many of them may be alive thanks to this.

What happened on Thursday evening, however, exceeded the wildest expectations of the people who ran the place – the Franciscan sisters. Around 10 p.m., a six-year-old child found herself in this window of life. As we hear from the report, the girl behaved calmly, because the parents who left her there said that they would come back to her. But she is already a big girl. As the nuns said, she sensed that everything was definitely not right. The nuns notified the police. They arrived soon and also quickly located the parents of the six-year-old. It turned out that the father was wanted in a completely different case. In a moral case about alimony.

– We received information about this situation from the nuns who manage this place. According to the police, the girl was inside. We were alerted to this fact very quickly and a moment later we were already on the spot. The girl was taken care of by the city center officers. At the moment, the child is in a care facility – said on Friday junior cadet Jakub Pacyniak, press officer of the city center police department.

The child is in good condition, but the standard procedure in such cases requires that medical services come here to check everything. Later, also according to this standard procedure, the girl was moved to a temporary place of care. And now the family court will decide what will happen to her.
