From January 2, drivers parking in the Unattended Paid Parking Zone can pay for their parking using six mobile applications. This is three more than before – informed the Municipal Roads Authority.
Pango, mPay and CityParkApp applications have joined MobiParking, moBILET and Flowbird. In each of these applications, the zone is marked as “WarszawaSPPN”. To use the applications properly, you must register in advance.
Extending your stay with the app
In each of them, paying for parking is simple and intuitive. It is also possible to extend your stay directly from the application. The fee is charged only for the actual parking time. Depending on the operator, you can connect a bank card, pay with Blitz or top up your account in the application. Detailed instructions are available on the operators' websites. Additionally, in the MobiParking and moBILET applications, suppliers enable payment via SMS and IVR codes.
The increase in the number of available mobile applications is the result of a tender for the supply and installation of new parking meters, which was won by City Parking Group. New parking meters are already in place, among others: in Saska Kępa, Kamionek or Grunwaldzki Square. Ultimately, they will be replaced throughout the entire SPPN area.
