The royal route returns as a space for walks. From the next Saturday, the streets of Krakowskie Przedmieście and Nowy Świat will turn into a promenade every weekend. The buses will then go with detours.

From the Easter weekend, the streets of Krakowskie Przedmieście and Nowy Świat will be closed for car traffic on Friday to Saturday. Drivers and buses will return there on Monday at dawn.

Only pedestrians and cyclists will be able to move between the weekends between the de Gaulle family and the Castle Square.

Promenade until autumn

The Saturday-Sunday promenade will function until autumn, as well as in the picnic (from 1 to 4 May), Corpus Christi (from 19 to 22 June) and on the feast of the Polish Army (from 15 to 17 August).

Concrete barriers will be set at all the promenade inlets. For drivers, the ride along Świętokrzyska Street through the intersection with Nowy Świat will be kept at all times.

The entry of authorized vehicles will be drawn through the streets of Tokarzewskiego-Karaszewicza or Bednarska. On the latter, a two -way movement and a ban on stopping will be introduced.

Buses on detours

“Line buses: 106, 111, 116, 128, 175, 178, 180, 503 and N44 will change the routes at that time,” the City Transport Board said.

Line buses 106 In both directions, they will run along Królewska streets, through Plac Małachowskiego, Mazowiecka and Świętokrzyska, and 111 In both directions they will go: Aleje Jerozolimskie, Marszałkowska and Królewska.

Similarly, lines 128 and 175 – In both directions they will also travel along Marszałkowska and Królewska streets. In turn, buses 116, 180, 503 Towards Chomiczówka and Konwiktorska they will go along the following streets: Alejemi Jerozolimskie, Marszałkowska, Królewska, through Piłsudskiego Square, Focha, Molier and Senatorska to Miodowa.

On the way back to Wilanów and Natolin to Piłsudskiego Square, Wjada will enter Wierzbowa Street. Then Królewska will reach Marszałkowska, they will go through the Dmowski roundabout, turn into Aleje Jerozolimskie, and gives through Bracka and Plac Three Krzyży they will reach their routes.

Line 178 In the direction of Konwiktorska it will be directed on the route along the following streets: Świętokrzyska, Mazowiecka, through Plac Małachowskiego, Królewska, through Piłsudskiego Square, Focha, Molier and Senatorska. Skorosze will go through: Senatorska, Wierzbowa, Piłsudski, Królewska, Małachowskiego, Mazowiecka and Świętokrzyska.

Night line buses will also run a detour N44. Towards the Żoliborz depot, they will travel along Marszałkowska, Królewska, through Piłsudskiego, Focha, Molier, and Senatorska streets. On the way back they will go through Wierzbowa.

Daily lines will go along routes changed on Saturdays and Sundays, and the night from the night from Friday to Saturday to Sunday to Monday.
