Warsaw. Parking under Powstańców Square after the last acceptance. This is how it looks inside

The last technical acceptance in the underground garage under the Powstańców Warszawy Square has ended. Parking for 420 spaces will be opened on Friday, March 21. Two days before commissioning, the object was visited by a TVNWARSZAWA.PL reporter.

– We conduct the last preparatory work and cleaning the construction site. A permanent traffic organization was implemented. We are ready to open a parking lot for drivers on Friday at 13 o'clock – Wojciech Styliński, technical director of IMMO Park Warsaw, managing the parking lot at Powstańców Warszawy Square, told us on Wednesday.

On four floors under the square there will be 420 parking spaces (105 each on each floor), of which 63 were reserved for local residents.

The first two weeks for free

The facility is equipped with chargers for electric cars and a public toilet. This is the first underground garage built as part of a public-private partnership (concession formula). It was made by the previously mentioned Immo Park Warszawa company. For the next 36 years he is to manage the parking lot and earn on it. After this time, the object will be handed over to the city.

How much will you have to pay for parking at Powstańców Warszawy Plac? The parking hour is to cost PLN 7.50. The monthly subscription for residents will be PLN 550 (parking from 19-8) and PLN 800 (24-hour parking). For other customers, PLN 650 and PLN 950, respectively.

Styliński noted that for the first two weeks the barriers will open for everyone. Using the parking lot will be free.
