Police screen, crime tool, tape and police cars. The Warsaw Police Headquarters showed the latest video recorded just after the crime that occurred at the campus of the University of Warsaw. Suspected of brutal murder, university employees of Mieszko R. is already in custody.

Applied to detained persons, it is to reduce the risk of their self -mutilation and protect, for example, policemen from hitting their heads or bite. From there – as we already know – he goes to the prosecutor's office. As we reported on Thursday, investigators They presented him with three allegations: murders with particular cruelty, insulting the corpse and attempted murder.

Crime at the Campus of the University of Warsaw

A shocking crime occurred on Wednesday evening. The young man attacked two people with an ax: a 53-year-old woman, an administrative employee of the University of Warsaw, and a 39-year-old employee of the university guard who tried to protect a friend from work.

The attacked woman closed the Maximum auditorium building after class. As a result of injuries, the 53-year-old died on the spot. The guard was taken to a hospital with severe injuries. His condition is very serious. Has cut wounds of both hands and head. Investigators informed on Thursday that his life was not in danger.

Previous findings of investigators

Investigators found that on the day of the crime the attacker was in the Tri -City. – He was probably in one class. Then he walked a bit around the University of Warsaw. In the evening, around 18.40, there was a deeds that were accused of him – said the spokesman of the District Prosecutor's Office in Warsaw Piotr Antoni Skiba. And he added that the man had a book with him – “Dialogues” of Confucius.

The prosecutor was asked about the speculation appearing on social media that R. had previously walked on the campus with ax on the same day. – The very accurate monitoring, which was secured immediately after the arrival of police officers and prosecutors, shows that against the task of fatal blows, this object, this ax was in the bag and was taken out – replied Skiba. Knives and bayonet were also found in the suspect's bag.

Did the perpetrator and victim know each other? – At this stage, there is no indication that the suspect knew the victim personally and it was a planned action in relation to this particular person – the prosecutor replied.

On Friday afternoon, the court granted the prosecutor's request and applied a temporary detention under psychiatric supervision.
