Telephone registration for the summer edition of the “Safe Varsovian” and “Safe Varsovian” self-defense courses begins on June 26. The classes organized by the city guard will last for four weeks in July.
“In the first summer edition of self-defense courses, places have been planned for 32 Warsaw women and 16 Warsaw residents who want to improve their ability to recognize threats and cope with dangerous situations they may encounter in the city,” the City Guard said in a press release. Warsaw.

The instructors of the classes are qualified city guard instructors who on a daily basis train officers in intervention techniques and tactics.
“In our courses, we teach primarily how to recognize and avoid threats, and if a confrontation occurs, how to effectively self-defense,” we read in the release.
It was announced that training for women would take place on Tuesdays (July 2, 9, 16 and 23) and Thursdays (July 4, 11, 18, 25), and for men on Fridays (July 5, 12, 19, 26).
The classes will be held at the headquarters of the City Guard. Warsaw in Wola at ul. Sołtyka 8/10, from 17.00 to 18.30.
