Firefighters intervened on the S2 route, where a passenger car had caught fire. – No one was hurt – they reassure. One lane of the road is blocked.
The incident occurred a few minutes after 8 a.m. on the Southern Bridge, towards Wał Miedzeszyński, just before the exit. – There is a car on the right lane that was engulfed in fire and burned completely – describes Artur Węgrzynowicz from tvnwarszawa.pl
He adds that the fire probably started in the engine compartment and quickly spread to the entire car.
– No one was hurt – reassures Krzysztof Wójcik from the Warsaw fire brigade. He also notes that one guard unit was involved in the operation and the situation is now under control.
The right lane is still blocked, but, as Węgrzynowicz describes, it does not cause major difficulties.
