Passenger transport collided with a tram in Washington Avenue. The police report that the passenger of a passenger car was hospitalized. There are major difficulties in tram traffic. Driving through the track in the area of ​​the intersection with Międzyborska is blocked.

The police received a notification about the collision at the intersection of Washington Avenue with Międzyborska a moment after 5pm. The drivers are sober. The passenger from the passenger car was taken to the hospital – informs the younger aspirant Bartłomiej Śniadała from the Warsaw Police Headquarters.

He adds that nobody of the tram passengers has suffered. Policemen explain the circumstances of the accident at the spot.

– The passenger car turned from Aleja Washington in Międzyborska. It has a damaged back – describes our reporter Mateusz Mżyk. After the collision with the tram, the car struck sideways on the road sign, causing it to fall over.

Public transport supervision works on site. Passengers await great difficulties. – Due to the accident, the tram traffic was suspended in this place – warns our reporter. According to the Municipal Transport Board, the compositions of lines 9 and 24 were directed to detours by Aleja Zieleniecka and Grochowska.
