Warsaw. The developer blocked the shortcut to the school in Miasteczko Wilanów

Approximately 160 meters of tin fence was built along Dyniowa Street, at the end of Zdrowa and Winogronowa streets. The way the Green House Development investment was implemented did not appeal to local residents, especially children and their parents who went to Primary School No. 400 at Oś Królewska through today's construction site. Now they have to make way. They vented their dissatisfaction on the fence, where they hung signs saying: “We want to move to SP400”, “You are selfish” and “Your only friends are money”.

The problem was noticed by district councilor Tomasz Kuszłejko (Left Wing). “Between ul. Dyniowa and Oś Królewska, a passage was tightly closed, used by, among others, children going to school no. 400 near Arbuzowa street. In this situation, the route to the school was extended several times. Ultimately, there will be a passage there through the future part of ul. Zdrowa. But also this the area has been fenced,” wrote councilor Kuszłejko on social media and asked for a temporary solution that would allow passage.

We asked the district office why it agreed to organize the work by fencing off the entire area, which is probably convenient for the contractor, but not for the residents. We asked whether it was possible to make an adjustment that would allow pedestrians to safely move along the corridor designated, e.g. along the plot border. There were also questions about the availability of the area after the investment was completed, since in the promotional materials the developer boasts of “eight thousand square meters of private park.” For almost two weeks, the district office did not answer our question.

The developer was responsible for this. – We are talking to the Wilanów District Management Board, looking for a solution to reconcile our investment with the children's access to school number 400 – assured Wioleta Lipska from the marketing department of Green House Development. – At the same time, we would like to inform you that as part of our investments, a publicly accessible part of Zdrowa Street will be created, which will significantly improve the comfort of communication in this area – added the developer's representative.
