Synoptics of the Institute of Meteorology and Water Management issued the first and second degree warnings on a three -stage, growing scale.
Second degree IMGW warnings – storms
Second -degree alarms before storms issued in voivodships:
- Lubuskieoutside the following poviats: Strzelecko-Drezdeński, Gorzów and Gorzów Wielkopolski;
- Lower Silesiain the following poviats: Milicki, Górowski, Milicki;
- Greater Polandoutside the following poviats: Czarnkowsko-Trzcianecki, Chodzieński, Pilski, Złotów, Ostrzeszów and Kępiński;
- Łódźwith the exception of poviats in the southern half of the region;
- Kuyavian-Pomeranianoutside the following poviats: Nakło, Sępoleński, Tuchola;
- Pomeranianin poviats: GdańskGdański, Tczewski, Starogardzki, Kwidzyn and Sztumski;
- Warmian-Masurian Voivodeshipin the western half of the region;
- Mazowieckiein poviats in the northwestern part of the province.
As it forecasts IMGWstorms will be accompanied by heavy rainfall up to 25 liters per square meter and wind gusts up to 90 kilometers per hour. The hail will fall locally.
Alarms will be valid until 10pm on Friday.

- Silesianin the following poviats: Kłobucki, CzęstochowaCzęstochowa,
- Świętokrzyskiein the following poviats: Włoszczów, Konecki, Kielce,, Kielce, Skarżysko, Starachowicki, Ostrowiecki;
- Lublinin the north and northwest of the region;
- Podlasie;
- Greater PolandKępiński and Ostrzeszów poviats;
- Mazowieckie, Łódź (in these poviats where second degree alarms do not apply).
Storms are forecast, which will be accompanied by heavy rainfall up to 20 l/sq m. and wind gusts up to 80 km/h. In most regions, the warning will be until 1 on Saturday.
