Higher limits: From 1 March 2025 minimum pension after valorisation is PLN 1,878.91. The Widowiej pension limit has also increased. The sum of benefits paid together with a survivor's pension cannot exceed the lowest pension three times. This means that the widow's pension limit has increased from the amount of PLN 5,342.91 to PLN 5,636.73 gross.
How to submit an application? Complete the application Erwd and indicate in it the payment option. They are available two options: 100 percent survivors' pensions and 15 percent own benefits or 100 percent own benefits and 15 percent survivors' pension. The application includes, among others Peselname and surname, date of birth, address of residence, the date of death of the spouse, after which the survivor's pension is entitled, and indicate whether a joint household (marriage commonness) was lived until the day of the spouse's death. ZUS Accepts applications electronically (via the PUE/EZUS electronic services platform) and in paper form – documents can be submitted in person at any ZUS facility or sent by post.
When is the widow's payment? On March 7, ZUS informed that he had received over 550 thousand conclusions for a widow's pension. The documents are accepted from January 1, but the payment of the benefit will start from July 1, 2025.
