In the town of Wierzchowo in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship, a passenger car collided with a bus. One person died on the spot and seven were taken to hospital. National road No. 11 is blocked.
The accident occurred at approximately 4:50 p.m. on Sunday on national road no. 11 in Wierzchowo. A passenger car and a van carrying foreigners collided. Another passenger car, trying to avoid a collision, drove into a roadside ditch.
The road has been blocked, the emergency services are in action. As reported by Captain Wojciech Szkwarek, press officer of the District Police Headquarters in Szczecinek, 11 fire brigades are on site.
One person died as a result of the accident – a 58-year-old woman driving a passenger car. Seven people were taken to hospital.
