Two teenagers were injured in an accident at an electric scooter that occurred on Tuesday in Świecie. According to preliminary findings, excessive speed contributed to the event. The boys did not have protective helmets.
The accident occurred on Tuesday, around 19:20, at al. John Paul II in Świecie. As initially determined by police officers working on site, a 15-year-old driver along with an 11-year-old passenger moved an electric scooter.

Teenagers did not have helmets or other security. Driving down the sidewalk, they lost their balance and fell to the ground. Both, with injuries, were taken to hospital.
Blood samples for the presence of alcohol and intoxicants were taken from the participants of the event. As reported by the Poviat Police Headquarters in Świecie, at the moment activities are underway to determine the detailed causes and circumstances of the event.
Officers remind you that an electric scooter is a device designed for one person who can be moved at a maximum speed of 20 km per hour.
