At the airport in Wrocław, a point was opened where you can get a temporary passport before departure. It is enough to have a ticket and proof, and the document issued on site will be valid from 1 to 365 days. This is the fifth point at Polish airports.
From April 28, the Wrocław Airport joined the group of the largest Polish airports offering the service of issuing temporary passports directly on the spot. Newly opened passport point, launched by Ministry of the Interior and administration, is to serve primarily people who have found themselves in an emergency before departure. To use the service, all you need to do is have a valid airline and identity document.
The document will be valid until a year
“At the point at the airport, a temporary passport is issued after confirmation of identity and citizenship, based on the data available in the register of passport documents, the PESEL register and the register of ID cards. The photo for the document is made on site. The validity of the temporary passport is adapted individually to the situation – it can be from 1 day to a maximum of 365 days” – informs the Lower Silesian Voivodship Office in Wrocław.
