Institute of Meteorology and Water Management (IMWM) issued first-degree meteorological warnings. There is also a weather hazard forecast for the next few days.
Meteorological warnings – strong wind
First degree warnings against strong winds apply in the following voivodeships:
- Lesser Polandin the Gorlice and Nowy Sącz counties;
- Podkarpackiein the following counties: Jasło, Krosno, Sanok, Lesko and Bieszczady.
Strong winds with an average speed of up to 40 kilometers per hour, with gusts of up to 80 km/h, are forecast to occur from the south and southwest.
The warnings will come into force on Saturday at 9 and will be valid until 18 on Sunday.
