The saga with the new perpetual trainer of Krakow lasted a long time. There were many names in the media reports, mostly with the past in the Premier League. Once their coach was to become Piotr Stokowiec, at other times Gino Lettieri was to be a step away from signing the contract, a former coach of Korona Kielce. However, none of them came to Wawel, and the next name was surprised by many fans and experts.
Stokowiec, Lettieri, Skorża. There were many names, it ended with a sensation
I am talking about Przemysław Cecherz. This is a 52-year-old trainer who had the opportunity to work in perpetual. However, it was in 2019-2021, when the Krakow team was still playing at the district level. It was under the leadership of Cecherz that they managed to advance to the 4th league in the 2020/21 season. Despite this, he was released after the season. According to the portal, the reason was one of his media statements, which apparently did not appeal to the club authorities.
Since then, a lot has changed in both sides. The coach worked in KSZO Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski and Cartusia Kartuzy, as well as Vineta Wolin and Warta Sieradz. In turn, this season he worked in Starachowice at the third league level. His team ranks 6th in the group IV table. It was his former club that was the first to confirm the cecherz departure, and soon after his coming, the perpetual herself announced.
The cecherz returns where he has already worked
The Krakow club announced that the 52-year-old signed a contract by the end of the current season. There is therefore no doubt that the goal is one, namely promotion to the 1st league, preferably direct. Only two wins in the last six matches (+ three defeats and a draw) have made the perpetual stars full of perpetual stars to the third place (first play -offs), and the second position is currently occupied by Polonia Bytom.
The re -debut of the Cecherz will take place on Saturday, May 3, when at 15:00 the perpetual will play at home with Wisla Puławy. A real hit awaits her a week later, and more specifically on Sunday, May 11, when they will face the Polish Polonia mentioned above.
