Four people, including two teenagers, were injured in an accident in Zator near Oświęcim. The driver of the passenger car drove there head -on into a bus driving from the opposite direction with a group of young people. A helicopter of the Air Ambulance landed on the spot.
The accident occurred before 14.30 at Wadowicka Street in Zator (Lesser Poland). The passenger car collided head -on with the bus transporting the students.

Wounded teenagers, guardian and driving a car
Four people were injured: a 17-year-old girl, an 18-year-old boy and a guardian of a group from a bus, as well as a 57-year-old head of a Volvo passenger. The woman's condition is the most serious, which is why she was transported to the hospital by helicopter of the Air Ambulance Service. Other people were taken with ambulance. All victims were conscious.
– Preliminary findings show that a 57 -year -old resident of the Wadowice poviat, driving a Volvo car for unknown reasons, pulled into the opposite lane, where she collided with a passenger bus, which was traveled by a group of several teenagers – explained Jurecka. It is possible that the woman fainted behind the wheel, but the detailed reasons for the incident are only examined.
Difficulties on DK28
As brig. Zbigniew Jekiełek, press officer and commander of the rescue and firefighting unit in Oświęcim, over 20 firefighters from Wadowice, Oświęcim and Zator intervened on the spot.
Małgorzata Jurecka announced that national road No. 28 at the accident site is completely blocked. “The services are directed to detours,” said the spokeswoman.
