As recalled by w message Social Insurance Institution – the program is intended to make it easier for parents and guardians kids up to 3 years of age, reconciling professional duties with caring for children. The provision comes in three forms: active parents in workactively in the nursery and actively at home.
Parents can take advantage of three benefit options
Let us remind you that “active parents at work” (so-called grandma's benefits) is a benefit for professionally active parents. They will be able to use the amount of PLN 1,500 per month to pay for the care of a child for two years – from the age of 12 to the age of 35. Parents of children with disabilities can count on PLN 1,900.
The “actively in the nursery” option will replace co-financing the stay of a child up to three years old in care institutions. Parents will receive PLN 1,500 per month (or PLN 1,900 for a disabled child) if they use a nursery, children's or day club. Importantly, the benefit does not cover costs meals.
“Actively at home” amounts to PLN 500 per month. This amount will go to parents who raise their children at home. The benefit replaces Family Care Capital.
