Ewa Skibińska came to work drunk. “Drinking has always been there”
In a candid interview for “Wysokie obcasy” the actress confessed that she had abused alcohol in the past. She quit her addiction over ten years ago. “Drinking itself, let's not hide it, has always been there. For years, it was also allowed in the theater in a way. The fact that there is no alcohol on the set or on stage is an achievement of recent times. (…) I was actually drunk during rehearsals. Even in the morning there was a monkey in the bag – she recalled” – she said. The actress revealed that in her fight against addiction she could count on the support of her friends and daughter, who for years played the role of her “caregiver”.
