The man's telephone number of the parliamentary office was called by a man and a conversation with the employee threatened to death. The police from Chełm received such a notification on Tuesday (April 1).

The police determined who the indicated phone number belonged to and detained a 47-year-old resident of the Chełm poviat. The man was intoxicated, he had over half a per mil of alcohol in his body.
According to young asp. Angelika Głąb-Kunysz from the Municipal Police Headquarters in Chełm, the 47-year-old confessed to the fact that he had made a phone call to the parliamentary office, but he could not explain what he said exactly.

The man was brought to the prosecutor's office, where he heard allegations regarding the directing of threats to the Sejm MP, which could have exposed her to a threat to health or life. He faces up to three years imprisonment.

The MP did not want to comment
MP Anna Dąbrowska – Banaszek, in an interview with the Polish press agency, did not directly confirm that the notification concerns her person or comment on this event. She explained that she was busy because the Sejm's deliberations in Warsaw are ongoing.
– All this will be explained when I come back to Chełm after the Sejm meeting – she noted.
