The Institute of Meteorology and Water Management has issued heat warnings for all provinces in the country. – On Saturday, it will be hot practically all over the country, except for the Coast and the foothill areas in the Sudetes and Podhale. It will be the warmest in the south, where the maximum temperature on Saturday and Sunday may reach locally 33 degrees – the weather forecaster told Polskie Radio IMWM Michael the Gardener.
Tropical nights and over 34 degrees Celsius
In some regions of Poland, there will even be tropical nights. – Minimum temperatures above 18 degrees are forecasted on the night from Saturday to Sunday in the belt from Suwałki and Masuria through Masovia and the Łódź region to Upper Silesia and Opole. In addition, on the night from Sunday to Monday and the night from Monday to Tuesday, temperatures above 18 degrees are expected in Roztocze and the eastern borders. In turn, IMGW spokesman Grzegorz Walijewski told Polish Radio that on Saturday, thermometers will show even 34 degrees in many regions of the country. – This is the maximum temperature that we will see especially in the Opole region, Silesia. It is possible that also in the Łódź region. On Sunday, also around 34 degrees. However, on Sunday, an atmospheric front will pass through. It will most likely not be as dangerous as what took place a few days ago in Warsaw or Zamość. However, it will be a windier front – predicts Walijewski.
It will get colder after the weekend. Then it will be hot again
This temperature means you need to be careful storms and accompanying strong wind gusts. It is supposed to be a bit cooler after the weekend. The weather will start to change on Sunday. On this day, storms with strong winds will move from the west to the east. the wind and torrential rain. On Monday and Tuesday, the thermometers are expected to show around 28 degrees, and the following days will be hot again.
