Who is entitled to the 14th pension? The amount of the main benefit is decisive
The 14th pension is paid ex officio, which means that no additional applications need to be submitted to receive it. This year, the “fourteenth” is paid together with the pension due for September. Thus, it was paid on: August 30, as well as on the 5th, 6th, 10th, 13th, 20th and 25th day of September.
The “fourteenth pension” in its full amount is received by people whose basic benefit – retirement or disability pension – does not exceed PLN 2,900 gross. When its amount is between PLN 2,900 and PLN 4,630.96 gross, the 14th pension will be reduced in accordance with the “zloty for zloty” principle. For example: a beneficiary receiving a basic pension of PLN 3,500 gross will receive the “fourteenth pension” reduced by PLN 600, i.e. PLN 1,180.96.
