Giertych's announcement regarding Rydzyk. 'Shocking' details

Giertych was also asked whether new information regarding irregularities in the Justice Fund should be expected. He is the defense attorney of Tomasz Mraz, a minor Crown witness who is facing prosecutorial charges in this case and has decided to speak publicly about the Fund's activities.

– We have a new, very serious whistleblower who is currently testifying in the prosecutor's office. We have two people, they are already close to revealing them publicly – he replied.

– As for the Justice Fund, it seems to me that Mr. Mraz's interrogations have already ended or are ending now, because he was interrogated recently and all the evidence is in the hands of the prosecutor's office – he added. – I would expect, and this is a calm expectation, that we will have further steps within the Justice Fund soon – he noted.

Giertych also talked about the situation related to neo-judges sitting in the Supreme Court. – After the resolution of the three chambers, i.e. after the resolution of the entire Supreme Court, which took place four years ago, it is obvious that while the issue of neo-judges from common courts is debatable, when it comes to Supreme Court judges, there is no discussion. These are not judges, none of these gentlemen is a judge of the Supreme Court (…). Get out of this court, you will have to give back the money you take and you will have to reimburse the state for the alleged judgments you pass – said the KO MP.

– We will prepare a law that will apply to prosecutors, judges of common courts, and will apply to masqueraders from the neo-National Council of the Judiciary, and we will prepare these laws so that the president, who will be elected from the democratic majority, can sign them, he announced.

Giertych also responded to criticism from some commentators, politicians and lawyers regarding what they believed to be too slow changes in the prosecutor's office. – It's like complaining about a rally driver, putting him in a Fiat 126p and telling him to drive at 200 kilometers per hour. This Fiat, i.e. the prosecutor's office that Ziobro built, has a broken engine, broken gears, (…), this prosecutor's office is not able to drive 200 kilometers per hour – he said.

– It has an old engine, so you can't get more out of it this way. Because the structures of the prosecutor's office, which need to be plowed, replaced and replaced with new people, they cannot afford more – said the guest of “Kropka nad i”.

Giertych also talked about who could be the Civic Coalition's candidate in the presidential elections.

– Of course, I will accept any candidate nominated by the Civic Coalition. I think this election will be largely about security. The situation in Poland, the situation in Europe, the situation on our borders, the global situation will be a situation that will require a person who has perfect knowledge of security, and it seems to me that of these two candidates (he was talking about Radosław Sikorski and Rafał Trzaskowski – ed.) Radosław Sikorski knows better about security, he said.

He added that in his opinion there should be one common coalition candidate on October 15.
