We received the first information about the incident on Kontakt 24. “The 'Gdynia-Vienna' train hit a man fatally at the Warsaw-Ursus station,” the Internet user reported.
We asked the police about the situation. – A man was fatally hit by a train. A married couple was crossing the tracks. A 79-year-old woman died. The man who was walking with her was unharmed. The driver was sober – said Jacek Wiśniewski from the Warsaw Police Headquarters.
Train traffic is slowed down.
