A fire broke out in halls in Sulechów (Lubusz Voivodeship) on Sunday. Due to the smoke, 100 people were evacuated from nearby blocks of flats. Firefighters assure that the situation is under control, although the fight against the fire will continue.
The fire in the halls in Sulechów broke out on Sunday after 5 p.m. – Due to heavy smoke, 100 people were evacuated from two blocks of flats in the area of the fire – said Junior Brigadier Kaniak. People are under the care of Sulechów crisis management.
Three halls on Kościuszki Street are burning. – These are empty buildings. Furniture production materials are burning inside, said a firefighter spokesman. 20 fire brigades are fighting the fire.
– The situation is under control – Kaniak said. It will take several more hours to extinguish the fire.
– The most important thing is that no one was hurt. There is no one in the halls, said Junior Brig. Kaniak
