A 67-year-old man will spend the next three months in custody for offering money to a 13-year-old girl on the beach in Gniezno for touching her private parts. – The man has already been convicted of a similar crime – says the press officer of the Gniezno police.
The incident took place on Wednesday afternoon in the recreation area at Lake Jelonek in Gniezno. – An intoxicated, older man approached a 13-year-old girl who was in the company of her friends and offered the minor a thousand zlotys in exchange for going with him to a secluded place and allowing him to touch her private parts – reports staff aspirant Anna Osińska, press officer of the District Police Headquarters in Gniezno.

The girl's friends reacted to this behavior and chased the intruder away. They reported the matter Municipal Police. The patrol sent to the scene found out what the man who was harassing the girl looked like. The guards stopped him on the other side of the lake and handed him over to the police. He is a 67-year-old resident of Gniezno County.
– He was taken to rooms for detained persons. The prosecutor charged him with attempting to commit a pedophile crime. When giving explanations, the man was unable to rationally explain the motives for his actions – explains Osińska.
By decision of the court, at the request of the prosecutor from the District Prosecutor's Office in Gniezno, the 67-year-old was temporarily arrested for 3 months.
– The man has already been convicted of a similar crime – Osińska informed.

1. Say “no!” and if necessary, shout loudly. 2. Quickly walk away from this person. 3. Ask other adults for help.
