KO MEP Andrzej Halicki said that Zandberg “has golden recipes, but nothing actually comes out of it because he doesn't implement them.”
Last Sunday, the Congress of the Razem party decided to leave the Left parliamentary club and establish a parliamentary group. Earlier, Deputy Speaker of the Senate Magdalena Biejat, senator Anna Górska and MPs Joanna Wicha, Dorota Olko and Daria Gosek decided to leave Razem.
The chairman of Razem, MP Adrian Zandberg, was asked on Saturday in “Fakty po Faktach” whether he regretted anything.
– I think what I regret most is that a year after the elections, what we all promised people, not only Razem, but also other democratic parties, has not happened – he said.
He said that when he sees the Minister of Finance who brings a budget that means, among other things, “tightening the belt on the bellies of budget employees”, he has two choices. – I can either remain silent and pretend that nothing is happening (…) or say loudly and openly that this is not how it was supposed to be. I chose the second path, he added.
Zandberg: I see a return to Morawiecki's mistakes
Zandberg said that he praised the prime minister a year ago. – Donald Tusk he realized last year that this was a tightening of the belt on the bellies of public sector employees for several years, and that it needed to be compensated somehow. And there was a one-off compensation in terms of public sector wages. But I look at the budget this year and I see that there is a return to Morawiecki's mistakes. There is a return to the fact that there are no real salary increases for public sector employees. Why is this an error? If we pay public sector employees poorly, competent people will leave their jobs for the Polish state, he said.

KO MEP Andrzej Halicki said that he sees Adrian Zandberg “still the same, who has golden recipes, but in fact nothing comes of it because he does not implement them.”
– You can vote for our amendments – Zandberg interjected.
Halicki was asked if he had any knowledge that there might be problems with the adoption of the budget in the Sejm.
– No, I don't think so, and this move, also by my friends who are, I think, very rational thinkers, proves that. Because after all, from the undecided, not to say critical, side, they are moving to the side of rational action, he said.
– This is the year we are currently living in, in which everything that can be done must be implemented on the basis of a budget that must have a realistic framework. You can have really great ideas, but they have to fit within certain frameworks, he added.
Zandberg: just vote for the Razem amendments
Halicki emphasized that the Left is needed for Polish democracy. – And in any normal democracy, the Left should indeed also have its place. And Prime Minister (Donald) Tusk knows it very well and I, as a liberal, can confirm that he listens very strongly to these arguments, to these expectations coming from the left, he said.
– Nothing could be simpler, just vote in parliament for the Together to the Budget amendments – Zandberg reacted.
– First, figure out what fixes you have, because you have different fixes between you. I appeal for the fact that together does not mean apart – replied Halicki.
