A tragic accident occurred at the railway station in Novi Sad, Serbia. On Friday, November 1, the concrete canopy over the entrance collapsed, and the consequences of this event were devastating – apart from the injured, there were also fatalities.

It turns out that the body of Milos Milosavljevic, a footballer who celebrated his 21st birthday the day before, was found in the rubble. His girlfriend, 20-year-old Andela Ruman, died with him. Their death was announced by FK Potisje (Serbian lower league), where the player last played.
“It is with great sadness and indescribable pain that we inform you that our teammate, friend and brother Milos Milosavljević, together with his girlfriend Andela Ruman, died in a terrible accident in Novi Sad. […] Rest in peace, angels, you will never be forgotten,” it was posted on the Facebook profile.

Later, his bandmates paid tribute to the late 21-year-old by posting a group photo with his shirt. Additionally, they included a short but eloquent description. “Forever with us! You will live forever, our brother, Milos Milosavljevic,” we read.
According to recent reports, 14 people died in a terrible accident at the Novi Sad railway station. However, the number of injured exceeded 30, of which several had to be taken to hospital.
Due to the tragic events in Novi Sad, the Serbian authorities announced November 2 as a day of national mourning.
