Queen Camilla, wife of British King Charles III, had to withdraw from engagements scheduled for this week, Buckingham Palace announced on Tuesday. It was explained that the reason was illness.
“Her Majesty the Queen is unwell due to a chest infection and her doctors have recommended a short rest,” a Buckingham Palace spokesman said on Tuesday.
Due to illness, the 77-year-old wife of the British monarch Charles III is resting at home. However, the palace did not provide other details of her illness, which is common practice when dealing with health problems royal family.

The spokesman added that “it is with great regret that Her Majesty has had to withdraw from her engagements this week, but she very much hopes that she will recover in time to take part in Remembrance Day ceremonies this weekend.”
Remembrance Day is a holiday celebrated on November 11 in the British Commonwealth of Nations. It is celebrated to honor all fallen British soldiers. It also commemorates the signing of the armistice ending World War I. The symbol of this day are red poppies that are pinned to the lapels of jackets.
